Ongoing projects - Matriochkas, Micromegas et Roulepur
A call for proposals on micropollutants in urban water was launched in June 2013 by the French ministry of environment, Onema and water agencies.
Three projects proposed by SOERE URBIS were chosen in 2014 (1 project by observatory). Even if chosen micropollutants, sites and objectives are different, the three observatories decided to work together closely on methodology development and research findings.

MATRIOCHKAS - ONEVU
The main aim of this project is to study micropollutants at different scales. Three facilities will be study, at a territory scale (wet and dry retention basins, vegetalised swale). A ditch experimental pilot will be used at a local scale, for a better understanding of mecanisms.

MICROMEGAS - OTHU
The facility scale is studied in this project. A centralised facility (retention basin) will be study both at the inlet and outlet in order to complete INOGEV database. Best management practices recently implemented at INSA of Lyon will be studied as decentralised facilities.
-
ROULEPUR - OPUR
This project is focused on innovative solutions in micropollutant contamination source control. Run-off water on roadways and urban car parks will be mainly studied. Four source control facility efficiency will be assessed (permeable car park, horizontal flow reed beds, ditches and a settling/filtration/adsorption compact device). This study will be completed by a life cycle analysis of each solution.
