Coming to Lyon (France)
Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport located 25km away from Lyon centre, provides connection with more than a hundred cities, half of which are international. To reach Lyon city centre from the airport:
- The “Rhônexpress” tram connects the Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport to the center of Lyon (Part-Dieu station) in less than 30 minutes (www.rhonexpress.fr). Departures every 15 minutes from 6am to 9pm, and departures every 30 minutes from 5am to 6am, and from 9pm to 0.40am. Fares: One-way ticket = 15,90 € / Return ticket = 27,50 €
- Taxi fare is around 50€.
Be careful as there are three SNCF railway stations. Two in the Lyon city centre: the Part-Dieu Station and Perrache Station in the city centre. And one outside of Lyon, at the Lyon Saint Exupéry airport.
Lyon is located, by car, at 1h30 from Geneva, 3 hours from Turin, 4 hours from Paris, 5 hours from Barcelona.
